    Maybe gut a mag and put a metal plate in the bottom that has been drilled to match the ASA holes. Attach some nuts to them for the ASA screws?

      Yeah that’s what I was thinking. I grabbed a mag cut it apart and JB welded a plate in the bottom . I just have to reinforce it with a couple pieces of aluminum.

        What if you replace the magazine floor plate with a hunk of aluminum? You might be able to fashion a dummy 12g in there, drill and tap a CP on/off for top air-out like they do on sleeper pneumags.

                Thanks! The angle on the ASA may be a little too much but I’m gonna play with it on Sunday and see if I need to put a straight a essay on it versus an angled one

                  I love the idea of this project and like the size and shape of it

                  I hate that it's based on a tipx. I absolutely hate how those are put together

                  Got to use it all day on Saturday , worked perfectly , had a few chops, not sure why , but it ran well with no leaks or anything .
