Tippmann 98C with direct reg or gas through.

I have a Tippman 98 Custom that i went a lottle bit crazy on and shaved a lot of metal off it. I was able to fit a regulator to 1/8 npt directly to the 98s tube. It seems to be working with a remote adapter on it. I am thinking of either putting a gas thru grip on it or regulator and would like opinions. I have previously seen that regulators do little to nothing for a 98C and want to make sure that is still the general thought.

If you want to do low pressure you will need to have some sort of volume chamber before the valve (gas through grip).
