What did you 3D print today?

My son sold his 5" drone, and i needed to find something for myself as a birthday present... Cinerace20! Love this little quad so far. But it needed a case, and nothing online was really tickling my fancy. So i CAD'd this up, case with a lid and two cavities for the 4S 650 LiPo's. The fit is a tiny bit tight, but it works.

Made these for last weekends pumpapaloza at extreme pb : pump pistol only game . Printed in polymaker ASA, finished with rattle can base green and some weathering to fit the “ fallout/rollout” theme of the wastelands . Files will be up on thingverse in the future

Im looking to tune a project and get the most efficiency out of it. So I tried to inlay an O-ring groove.

and im pleasntly surprised.

I used white lith to help it stay seated and it damn well works!!!!

Loaned out my JT Revy for Retro day and the lid came back broken, so I decided to make my own Replacement Lid out of Polymaker PC. I made sure to put the little catch lip on the lower portion of the lid. I moved the lip from the bottom to the top for printing ease, but also to give more surface area for the thumb to flick. The spring-well is 1mm offset in this picture, it's since been corrected.. missed a constraint, whoops.

I made a snow man this morning (True Story) unfortunately only prints in Brown and occasionally Green if you eat an entire sleeve of Mint Oreos apparently.

Made a “Case Pod Rack” that can be used for staging on any 9x12 case. It fits even the fattest Dye pods snugly.

It’s half the length of the case, so two of them would cover the whole top. Just a “half rack” seems best for my needs as is.

Spider! that's a cool idea! I have some clear PETG, might have to give something like that a try. I've got a stock ION that would be a good candidate, since its already got a battery
