3D Printing Request

I bought an STL recently and it doesn't fit on the printer I have available, and wanted to see if someone here would be willing and able to print & ship it. I'll cover costs. File is this spiffy octopus - the main body is about 250mm L x 180mm W x 130mm H, as-is. I need to verify the final print size required, but that is the largest it would be. I'll be painting it up once it is done, so as smooth a print as possible is ideal (resin maybe?).
I need to make a mock-up to verify sizing, but I think the size as-is will be what I want.

How big can you print? Your slicer should be able to scale the model down and let you print that and do a test run with painting.

About 50% size. It is a friend's printer, and I'm not sure exactly which one it is, other than being an AnyCubic resin printer. The mock-up is more to make sure it is the correct size for where I'm using it. Basically I'll use some paper and cardboard and make something about that size.

Unless the slicing software can actually just cut the model in pieces that I can then assemble? I don't know much about them.

The slicing software cant, but you could manipulate it in CAD depending on what they gave you. Most likely its an assembly so its harder to manipulate. Fusion 360 may be able to do it. But you'd have to import it as a mesh. And some how deconstruct it. I don't have that figured out yet.

Awesome. I'll see what I can figure out, and see if the software has that option. He just got the printer, so I'm guessing he doesn't know about that functionality either.
