    Stl files of phantom detents

    Hey,

Sorry all I was away all summer. I got several people asking me for phantom detents. I am crazy busy, so I uploaded the files for everyone. Enjoy!

This is a simple detent that slips over the phantom barrel to prevent rollouts. I shared these with about a dozen people and one said the barrel would not fit in the marker with them on. So depending on your phantom and tolerances these may not work. Works perfect on my three. These will only work with TPU!!!!If these work for you please think about tipping a $1 (all tips to me go to charity) or make any size donation to a charity. Have fun, share, create, make the sport better!

How hard would it be to have these cast in rubber?

We know the design works having them made in rubber or even silicone. Anyone have experience with that?

Do you have any idea how many shots these last when printed in tpu? I have never used these other than doing test shots in the backyard.

Honestly not sure. I usually keep them in the toolbox to hand out on pump days. I had most of my bodies done by ASP. But I know they work great until you lose them.

    TPU pretty much is rubber.

Recasting it in silicone would be easy. I’m not sure it would work better though. The ones Freedummy made are part TPU part nylon (I think) and they work perfectly for thousands of shots until you eventually lose one or accidentally pinch it in the barrel.
