Looking for custom files, commercial use. Detents

Hi I am looking for a set of ball detent files for multiple markers to purchase. I am trying to save some time and equip my local area with replacement parts instead of having them wait on shipping from across borders. My main culprits I'm after are planet eclipse ego style detents and field one/Spyder style detents. I have some other work too that will be more design intensive.

Once again I am looking for commercial files for my own local use, so please keep this in mind.

I am looking to purchase these files, to make this clear.

All of the best and happy printing!

Please reply and DM me I will respond as soon as possible ❤️!

You're looking for someone to provide, for free, CAD files for ball detents that you want to sell for a profit? With the promise that you'll have more work afterwards?

How about you pay someone to work for your business idea?

I am looking to buy cad files for commercial use. I am not looking for any free files lol. I'm sorry that I wasn't clear in my original post. I will edit it to clarify so others are not mistaken.

You want to 3d print them? Or make a mound and pour some urethane?

Yes sorry once again my initial post lacked clarity, I will be 3d printing these. STL files are what I need.

Yeah, 3D printing can be useful for certain kinds of detents but usually just new inventions for certain kinds of guns that didn’t have any detent. If the gun came with a real plastic part then that’s what you need. The 3D printed one will just fall apart.

For the parts Red Leader SB posted I would just buy them. Less than a dollar each? You can’t beat that with a 3D printer. If I did think that $0.80 was too much to spend on a gun and I wanted to mass produce them myself I would buy one 10 pack, make a silicone mold of ten, and pour new ones out of urethane resin. It would be about 100x faster than any 3D printer taking only a minute or two to make another set of 10. With a part like this 3D printing is the slowest most expensive way to make the worst part. A triple fumble.

Myself, I would for sure just buy the real ones.

Some sellers have modified the detent shape to be better-suited for 3D printing and to still fit in the same space: ebay link

But I agree with the others. I think 3D printed detents may shear apart at the layer lines. Resin printing may work better but would probably be more expensive and still weaker.

Too small of a part you'll have miserable results

I've been having great results so far with CCM style detents for myself under large batches. This was all for testing, I'm not worried about the size of the part or layer lines on my printer.

Obviously these won't last as long as poured detent molds due to the adhesive process.

Thank you for the input, I might just make a mold or two.

did you ever find any stl design for the detents? I could possibly design a few files if you still need them. i think they could work in a bind for a while until you could order the manufacturer detents. we use finger detents for the pump guns at the start of the barrel too and they are fine. let me know
