    Filament reccomendations

Im sure it's already been asked before but I didn't see in my searches. What filaments are reccomended for (outdoor) paintball.

petg has good temp resistance, strength and price, 1kg spools are around $20 sometimes a bit less.

Dont use pla, it doesn't handle the heat of a hot car well at all

PETG=decent strength, ok UV resistance, ok heat resistance, relatively easy to print at a good price.
ASA= decent strength, great UV resistance, ok heat resistance, slightly more expensive.
nylon (glass reinforced)=great strength/impact resistance, good UV resistance, better heat resistance more challenging to print, more expensive.
Polycarbonate=very strong/impact resist, ok UV resistance, best heat resistance of my listed materials, can be challenging to print, more expensive.
TPU=rubber like, very durable/impact resistant, less UV resistance, slow printing, can be challenging with detailed prints.

They all have thier pros/cons. As far as which one is "best" will depend on your use case, printer setup/familiarity, material/time budget.

After trying a bunch of filaments, I'm at the place where I nearly exclusively print ASA or TPU.

Are you printing at home or you're looking at printing services?
If you are printing at home, what printer do you have?

I have four X1s and primarily use pla and pla+. Most items are projects or parts with little exposure to outdoor elements.

ASA might warp a bit, but shouldn't be too bad with the enclosure.

What printer are you running and have you taken any special provisions with it?

I am now running a stock qidi q1 pro.
Prints like a beast, and the heated enclosure is incredible with wired filaments
