    3D printer regulation

    Hello y'all,

I'm starting this thread to keep track of the regulations coming up around 3D printer.
I'll try to keep an eye on international, but will probably focus on the US

Keeping track of this one (NY):
    https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2025/A2228
Not likely to ass as-is because it would also ban school's printer and possibly computers too ...

Idiotic. Have Blue did a great write up on this issue in the v2 forum (and a blog if memory serves). Wonder if it's still in the waybackmachine...

Out on the streets, they have these 3d printed ghost printers, no serials, cause the printers printed the printers, its madness I tell ya! unregistered printers cause death!
I'm glad they took away the bad printer owners, now only law abiding citizens will have printers...right?

I believe Hawaii has something similar coming up this legislative session.

I wasn't able to find an official bill, but i did found this article that explicitly mention 3D printed gun and ghost guns in general.
If you have a link to the proposition or the bill itself, let us know.

Looks like nothing was introduced this session yet. Hopefully it stays that way. Lots of other anti- 2A bills being pushed though.
