    Printed trigger group

Has anyone done and used this? https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5237390 frame screw spacing is correct however it appears that the sear may be missing. trigger and slide plate are integral the frame itself seems correct minus the grip mounting location but thats easy to take care of.

    It was someone here
Will need to check for the original post

From what I remember it was a pirate build with a trilogy, this is why there is no grip mounting

That's mine. I haven't used it a lot, but it still works. It uses the trilogy (cocker) sear. I think the cross pins are brass rods. None of it suffers much stress. The point of the build was to make a small unregulated pump build with the custom stock. I find I can tune a regulator with less effort than all the dis/re-assembly of tuning a poppet. I think I can find the files if you have a different stock dimension to build.

The mounting scheme I got from Walz, which is that front screw post. I used rifle bedding epoxy to make the fit really snug.

OpusX if you have the space for them, they work. Iirc, I cut some length off of that ninja reg stem, which is an old 3k. They can be a problem when you get into a fight with a leaky bucket changer and it binds more than the adapter.

      Really cool.

Any pics or notes you've got would be most excellent.

I did though order a linkage set to see about organizing an extended frame l.

im looking at doing a half block as well to help aid in mounting a body.

The back block is an ultra cool concept of the wgp bodies and I dont want to do away with it for my built but its really what needs to happen.

Yeah, that was an early (to me) model on my cranky printer. It does need some support on the housing. I couldn't get away from that.

Separate the trigger "plate" and print it flat. Print the body vertical. That makes it all pretty tough. You can slice the two parts and add height to make them taller, not sure if they can get shorter.

I used the sear pin and sear from the trilly. 1/8" brass rod for the front and back guide pins. I think the trigger return spring is the size of a pen spring, if not actually one. The sear spring might be custom, I would have to look.

I think so... It's in fusion. I have that and freecad on hand. I'll be able to look tomorrow night. I hope it's just an export. I used to have solid works but it didn't make it to the new computer.

Should be a file save as in fusion.... Step files are universal in most 3d cad software

That being said....yeah, I want to make this in aluminum with some tweaks

Triggers I can laser cut easily

I put the step file on thingiverse, Ecapnation checked it on solid works.

Hah, I just remembered what the front and back holes in the housing are for. They are pre and post travel (Allen) screw holes, #4 or #6. Then you have lug engagement to adjust.

I think I copied the trigger plate angle, but I have wondered about changing that angle or shape to see the effect on trigger pull.
