    VL Evlution shells…

Going through a bin today, i pulled out some Evlutions i haven’t used in years. Those were my loader of choice for a long time & the only real reason i ever stopped was because of the crap shells. I do have an Evlution 3 in pristine condition but only because I’ve never used it. I’d love to be able to field them again if i could. Has anyone ever 3D printed shells/lids/battery doors for them or come up with a better solution than the tape & glue i used to hold them together until i just gave up & moved on?

I don't think the 3D printing crowd are into these as much as other hoppers. I haven't seen anything.

I've been wondering when someone would would make shells for these. I was never Into them, but everyone I know whom used to shoot them still speak so fondly of them. And there are thousands of them with busted shells in bins.

I’d love to have at least a couple of sturdy replacement shells but you’re right. There were probably more that ended up in the trash than are still floating around. I don’t remember ever seeing anybody else using them locally besides me & another guy i used to play with.
