    annealing question.

Would there be any benefit in using a vacuum chamber in annealing? im wondering it a vacuum while annealing could help to pull air out of print layers. I know youd have to come up with a fancy rig to get even heat while under vacuum

I think the part dimensions would change, and you should be creating pores where the gas escapes.

I annealed some tea kettle triggers in a thread a while back. Done in an oven, packed with sand. It prevented the part from deforming by itself when it got hot. However, it didn't help when the temperature got high and you pulled on the trigger, deforming the plastic yourself. I changed that print to ASA and it's been good for about a year now.

It might be possible to plan on squishing the part, like sintering. You are doing a little of that when printing though.....
