I haven't done a torture test on it yet other than shooting it. But other things I've made from carbon fiber have been incredibly tough. Could also up the number of layers making it super strong but that would of course add weight and cost of materials.

Hand layup and vacuum molding is time consuming and the carbon isn't exactly cheap. So having an idea of what people would pay would help me decide if it's worth it or not. Thanks guys for the positivity!

Starting at $60 without torturer test, $80 if it does good and in torture test, $120 if its insanely strong. I would consider it insanely strong if you can put it at the end of steel pipe and swing it hard into concrete without cracking the fibers, damage to the resin would be acceptable

Dude, this is super cool! I make my hoppers from metal so a carbon fiber hopper would be a nice change. Did you mould 2 halves, then glue together? I dont know much about carbon fiber so any pointers would be helpful

Wow. Nice. You really meant real carbon fiber and not thermoplastic with CF filler that so many people disappointingly confuse with actual CF. I’m impressed. Rad.

I wonder would it be easier or more difficult to copy the shape of a Ricochet?

Carbon fiber doesnt like to bend around sharp corners.. you're interested in a 50rd ricochet?

I think a 50 round Ricochet would be cool and if it was made out of Carbon fiber that would be awesome. I like the idea of something different if you look at most of the hoppers they are shaped similar mainly because form follows function. but that is my opinion.

If you can make a profit at $60 I would be in for 2. $100 I would take 1.

Notice the use of the word "profit". I don't work for free, and I don't expect you to do so.
