This one might not be as popular as the "Wooden Barrel", but I had just as much fun, if not more making it! Constant "Is it possible?"thought at this point. From the rough turned finish to the weight drop, I'm super pleased with how this one turned out. This is by no means the last evolution by a long shot. FREAKing possibilities might be just around the corner.

.25 what?
Hot dogs?
Drum sets?
Small children?
Is this now the new MCB thing? Barrels out of everything?
Do I need to make one out of small rubber fists now?
Not too take away what you did though, that is pretty cool and looks good

0.25 lb = 113 g
So light, but still heavier than I would expect from plastic. The lightest 7075 barrels are around 100 g, if my memory serves. But I'd bet this has an interesting sound signature being made of such a soft material.Comment

Insanely awesome workshop! So clean. So well lit.
I like the barrel. Id like to make one from pvc and leave all the printing on the outside - even if it were just a faux cover for metal barrelComment

I love it. Needs to go on a etha or emek for the full fantastic plastic expierence.Comment

Interesting story you're not the first person to do this. I think it was the late 90s or early 2000s there was a barrel marketed made out of delrin with all sorts of wild claims of increased accuracy due to lower friction of ball against barrel...
It went nowhere but I actually ended up finding one while helping top gun shut down. I was happy to buy it off them and now it is part of my collection.Comment
