    POP Contest- SplatMaster?

I've had an extra set of splatmaters shells and an idea laying around for quite a while. The plan is to shove some spare nelson internals into the splarmater shells.

Off to a good start. The valve chamber can be reused and I found a powertube that fits in the original valve nut. I also found a nice bore drop front bolt and random hammer for now. I turned down a .682 Pathogen barrel to fit in the lower tube.

I found a piece of brass tube that fits perfectly over the powertube and pressed nicely into the front bolt. I tapered the tube towards the hammer and tapered the inner diameter of the hammer so the front bolt picks the hammer up smoothly on the pump back. This results in a very smooth return stroke and should give good gas effiency. I also figured out the trigger group and made a barrel tip to clean the front end up a bit. I have a few more barrel fronts that may be made into a loudener and a rain cover.

Cleaned everything up and bored out a spare sheridan pump handle. Used some spare brass to make a pump arm.

I really like that, resembles a SideKick now.
