LP angel LCD with conjoined tubes

Working on an LCD boddy that was given to me. Had 3mm eye holes drilled through it at some point in its life. I added a second detent, dm5 frame mounting holes, eye wire channels, plugged a few holes in the front end to eliminate the factory lpr, and joined the lower tubes to give substantially more valve volume. Have to fab an aluminum plug with an o-ring groove to seal rear of left tube, and have to fab a steel valve retaining pin that fits flush with the body with an internal m3 thread. In the past, I've done conjoined lower tubes on LCD and IR3 bodies and they've all been sub 300 psi HPR markers with the stock lcd/ir3 valve as opposed to about 500 psi on a stock lcd/ir3. The joining of the tubes is a pretty stressful process with the location and the angle. Used a ball mill in a lathe.

RJ paintball had a write up of his process on PBnation for a similar project. If you haven't seen it, its worth a look.
      Nice work so far!

I have done a few following how RJ did them. It is a much easier setup. It is a bit more difficult to get the plug to seal, although i would likely go a slightly different direction if i did one now.

Also it is easier to install the plug before you connect the tubes since you can't really deburr them.

I deburr them by jamming a steel valve down there

Looks good! I usually go in from under the body, similar to RJ’s 1/4NPT idea but not threaded. just use a cap with oring, the frame does a great job of holding it in place. Are you relocating the LPR to the “formerly” battery tube?

Lpr will be a cocker type mounted on an old body plug or gloss black volumizer
