Pump Marker Conversions: Known and Possible

I’ve been thinking about the number of pump markers out there and wondered: which markers have been converted to pump? For example, the KP3 comes stock as a pump, while an Ion starts as an electro and has been converted to pump by some players.

I’m compiling a list of markers that either:

Have been converted to pump
Could potentially be converted to pump but haven’t been (as far as I know)

Here’s what I’ve got so far, and I’d love for the community to help me expand it.

Spyder (Since I put cocker I kind of have to put spyder)

I’m especially curious about markers that could be converted but haven’t been attempted yet. Have any of you tried unusual conversions or seen any unique pump setups?

As a side not should I expand out the automag, spyder and cocker? I am not sure if those would be a category or a marker.

Someone pre-hack made a pump Dangerous Power G3

Some spool gun could be converted to pump. You need to check at which pressure they run to make sure the pneumatic parts will hold.

The Macdev Clone could probably be turned into a pump by looking at the animation and since I used to own one that had a mech semi conversion.

Cockers were a pump to begin with. They are “converted” to semi out of the box.

Spyders were not. No pump Spyders were ever sold by Kingman. It’s inherently a semi.

Huge difference.

Cockers don’t belong on a list like that. Spyders, Mags, 98s, Ions do.

I still have my Omen project sitting in a shelf. Wanted to make it mech. Even rigged up the original frame to drop the sear. And that’s it.

I have pumped a F1 Illustrator, Mokal Mirage, Mokal Aura(lp stbb electro), model 98 , Sheridan XTS, ICD BKO, Alleycat, Spyder, and a Etek. Any STBB can be pumped, they are basically a cocker. I am currently working on a Z1 pump and a VM pump

Aren't most stacked-tube markers technically pumpable? You have Spyder, Ego, Angel, Omen (kinda), so why not Impulse, Intimidator, etc., at least for "Possible Conversions"

I think the MVP is just a pump intimidator, I might be completely wrong on that though.

I've seen an Intimidator done, but I think it was still controlling the ram electronically. I've been meaning to try doing a conversion on an Imp, because LP and big bore valves are all the rage again...would be a hoot to try with that giant valve. What is it, like 3/4"?

Same argument made for the autocockers could/would be made for the ATS.. the valve design life started at pumps and they figured out where to hide a ram and regulator that was fairly aesthetic

Any/every marker can be converted to a pump.. it’s not a “theoretical” possibility it’s an absolute truth.. either by controlling the bolt with a pump handle or simply having a feedneck that only allows one ball in with each pump.
