Clamp for small dovetail rail???

Same topic, different thread. The little dovetail rail on the back of the FLE bodies. Can I get an attachment that will fit on that tiny thing and convert to a longer PIC rail? I’ve been scouring the internet and can’t find anything that will clamp on that little rail. There has to be something. Can someone make me a clamp?!? 😂

Crappy thing is it’s not really a dovetail it’s an annoying ass lazy slot made with a ball endmill.. I made a model for a buddy to 3d print that will clamp onto it but what kind of adapter are you looking for?

You’re a god. Thank you. I’ve been trying to find someone who at least knew what I was talking about.

I’m just trying to get some kind of small picatinny rail. That I could easily attach other stuff onto. Obviously I love the FLE because it so light and low pro. I just gotta figure out how to get a small optic on the backend of it.

I’m about 2 parts away from where I’m trying to be with this thing. With a much smaller optic than this.

So I could make a rail that slips over the top fairly easy and uses set screws to clamp.. main issue is there’s no real way for the setup to be “non marking”… set screws will dig into the rail a bit. Not the end of the world but an FYI

or I could make a side clamp rail built to the allowable profile.. even this would still likely leave a mark of some sort, but would probably be “acceptable” wear.. aka not as obvious as screw marks

but they biggest issue is that the area you’re clamping on isn’t super large so you can expect a huge amount of rigidity especially with a long/heavy optic.. that area is best for a red dot or something of the like
