I got a good deal on a handheld Chrono, but ran into issues trying to tech my collection of mostly pump markers when the chronograph required me to hold the button while using it.
I had plans in the back of my mind to make some sort of rig to hold the chronograph and push down the button but put it on the back burner. That was until my wife asked me if I had any use for a cross stitching stand she was going to junk.
It took maybe 10 minutes to deconstruct a few parts and move the handles to more convenient spots, but it was easy to make the spot that used to hold the cross stitching project hold the chronograph. After that a few parts I scrapped from the original design and a random screw I had laying around were easily mounted in an already available spot.
I'm pretty happy with it, it can be folded down to be used on a table or for storage, functions as needed but could use about 12-18 inches more height to be a convenient shooting height it I was using it without a table.
