    Pneumatic ram/hammer in an Autococker?

Anyone ever replace the standard hammer and spring setup with a ram?

Sounds like essentially reinventing the Timmy/Ego.

Yes. PGI did it with their Firestorm super neat markers. I'll get to shoot one someday....

      That’s sounding familiar.

Wait. All Osiris cockers have that?

I've always liked them for the twin LPR setup. Always thought that was neat but if they did a ram on all of them I had no idea

I run an mq2 valve, not quite the same but it's replacing the hammer and valve with a single noid activated poppet

        Excal anyone?

There were so many cool evolutions of the idea.

I’m thinking more so of something fully mechanical/pneumatic.

Dwell control is the tough part in those setup.

That confronts the not impossible but very much non-trivial engineering challenge of mechanically controlling dwell in a predictable and consistent way. There is a reason Jack Wood has never attempted an Ego mech frame. Again, not saying it can't be done. But coming up with an elegant solution to that problem would be quite the achievement.

How patient am I? As patient as I can be til end of the year when I have the machines to produce my imagination.

That's sort of my question... I'm working on a project that might interest you, but projects and I are rarely quick.

What's your imagination going to look like? And are you focusing on 9/16" or 11/16" valve diameter?

              Was thinking mostly 11/16.

I was trying to find something similar using a vector switch, it seems like a natural solution however I dont a a vec that I want to part out. I do have one that's got low velocity that I may pull the switch on and try something very similar if not functionally identical.
