Its a full conversion and you need to pump it to cock the hammer and load the round. I had some issue with velocity using air, so I added a volume chamber to the side of the valve. Thanks to Chris for the base gun.
Now velocity is well over 300fps and i can use the choke screw to dial it in.
This build has led to an interesting discovery for the Montneel guns.
My Mega-Z is setup for syphon co2, but I wanted to test my volume chamber before I drilled the pump body. so I tested it on it and without the volumizer I was getting 150 fps with air, with the volumizer I was getting 196fps. On the Zpump it went from 240s to 317.
If a volume chamber could be made to connect the vert asa and the valve, air might finally be an option. My volume chamber is an old lp reg from a cocker gutted and drilled out then plugged the vent and output hole.
