Building something out of the parts bin.

I have been trying to organize and downsize my collection of miscellaneous parts I have collected over the years. Some come from markers that have failed me in one way or another, others are from projects I have shifted gears on. This is going to be Nelson based (I have a Line SI lever that fits Nelson bodies nicely) I have done a few mock ups with different parts I have around the house. Some of you have seen pictures of what I am working on. I am posting this as a place holder to start putting pictures up.

The idea for this is to make a reliable daily driver for stock class games.

We have the air source figured out.

I have KPCS Nelson body I will probably be matching up to this.

Lapco #4 powertube for the lever changer

I need to adapt my RTR trigger frame to the body. The holes do not quite line up the way I was hoping. I have a LineSI trigger frame I could use but the other one says Gargoyle on it so there is that.

The grip frame could be a standard 45 block, the CCM 86 grip from the 2018 run or I have a Raw RTR grip from e from a different build available too.

I am not sure If I want to use a CCI one piece feed, Thumper feed, or the Lapco Grey Ghost feed I have.

Internal wise I have the CCI internals and a set of Lapco internal. I will probably go with whatever gives me the smoothest pump stroke.

Speaking of Pump stroke I have a Nelson Challenger kit on the shelf with that really low profile pump handle that fits nicely.

Barrel wise I am looking at Cocker threaded options mainly. but I do have a cocker to Phantom adapter (Thank you Rodney at RTR many moons ago) so I can use that for detents and then look at Phantom threaded barrel options.

Please feel free to share your suggestions and keep me moving forward on this. I know I will need to pick up some hardware and do a little bit of machine work to get this one done but is should be interesting when it is done.

Right now I am leaning towards this setup.

I have been kicking around some different 12 gram holding ideas as well.

Some needed hardware came in today, as well as some things the wrong size. Ran to Ace to pick up the parts I needed and decided to put the pump arm on the right side. If I decide to holster this that is one less screw digging into my side. I still need to drill and tap the front trigger frame screw hole but that will be happening this week if it warms up in the garage a bit.

So far I have determined I need a new battery for the digital calipers. I grabbed one of those yesterday.

Looking slick! Nice lines and I dig when the feed tube ends flush.

                      Looks sweet!
Does the valve has straight asa or the lever is built into the valve?

That is an old Line SI lever that is part of the valve.
