    Evil-ehm

So im a returning member, but couldn't begin to tell you what my old user name was..... Anyway.

Been out of paintball for 10+ years, picked up a mini works body and am building a cocker i had planned out years ago, and will be ULT/lvl 10 my classic mag I've had 30 years next year... while digging I stumbled on something I forgot even existed, one of the evil-m(ehm?) Body blanks that aka let go of( I cannot remember who sold them on AO/here all those years ago) many moons ago and I snagged.

Is anyone still building/milling these? I think Luke offered slick tube milling on them at one point? Im sure the parts have become much, much more difficult to acquire, but ....

I searched for a big theed here and didnt see a comprehensive one. Feel free to point me there and tell me to hush! 😆

Don't put a ult in your classic mag. You will have issues. The better option is the rt on/off with a .745 pin.

I've owned 4 ehms and built two of them. They aren't that hard to finish off. Jared at AKA still sells 04 Viking ram cartridges and bolts if you reach out to him directly, he has the solenoids and lprs listed on the aka site. I've had a Macdev clone vx frame and a Proto PMR Ultralite frame milled to work on the ehm but both required a tray to give a bit more clearance from the solenoid. I actually have said UL frame available for sale since I found a stupid rare frame to finish off my last ehm.

I may be interested in the frame, that's of course after OP has first dibs on it. Curious, as for the tray did you have someone mill that for you?

Yes, I had the macdev tray made while my body was milled. It would be easy enough to make out of 1/4” flat stock and a drill press

Do pretty much all of them require a tray?

No. The one I owned but didn’t built used an FEP quest frame with no tray and my current build used an Elia frame with no tray. The UL frame can be done without a tray but you have to cut through the back of the frame so the noid can protrude. PBN has a couple good threads about it and I believe its titled “stacked tube viking”

I dont think Luke offered Ehm milling. I could be wrong.

There have been a few guys that offered milling and did a few small runs. Elia was one that offered milling and offered frames too. Most builds that were build used Quest frames. Very little milling needed to be done for them to fit without tray.

most of the completcompleted ones are pretty unique, from the mill to the frames and parts used. Wont be cheap to get body milled. Even more for a custom frame.

I could be wrong, but I think I recall a lot of Bluefork ICD T2 frames being snagged for these builds?

Given that they were/are the only option (beside the even MORE limited T1 kits) for making B2Ks trayless, I'm honestly kind of glad to hear they were extremely pricey and not a ton ended up being used on these, especially since there are other frame options that work on these guns.

Somewhere lost in the cluster that was Harvey, I lost one of their trayless mods. You could, with finesse, get an ego frame on it.

I would honestly kill to have one right now, as I have a perfect frame and a b2k sitting derelict!

Man how do you LOOSE a Bluefork kit?!? Pretty much anything Bluefork is the kind of thing you hang on your mantle above the fireplace and brag about to everyone who enters your home after only a few drinks....at least, that's how they are now anyway.

its been a very long time ago, and i may be wrong. For some reason I remember exchanging a couple of emails about the possibility of doing slick tunes with him on AO, but i dont have access to that account anymore.

Myrkul you have 2.5ft of water come through your house in the biggest 48hr rainfall event in history unfortunately. It was on a shelf, and i think it got thrown away by a crew that was helping with the disaster cleanup( i was on a 911 console during it)

☹️ I had my paintball room flood in my basement a little bit ago. That was not fun and I get it. I got lucky and personally moved all the paintball items out several hours before anyone was called. I know how those crews are so I wasn't going to risk it.

A couple of years ago I had a coworker machine a batch of Ehm bodies and single trigger frames that allowed for no tray. I do take them out to the field to get some play time, they’re smooth shooters.

This old thread may be of some help https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forum/c...4-aka-evil-ehm

Machined by BMC but would still need a tray and probably a morlock or sci fi universal board because the noid wont clear the dye board.

The front mounting hole also needs drilled.
