First post here on MCB. I’m looking to get back into playing after 15 years away. I’m not interested in any of the new guns available. I want to build a custom cocker from the ground up like I did so many years ago. I was looking for a good frame and came across the Rip hinge frame. I see they aren’t producing it anymore and it looks like a fantastic set up. I imagine getting my hands on a used one would be a unicorn side quest. Any news on if inception will ever produce these again?

Sorry, I just sold my last one. Parted it off a build. Absolutely smashing frames. ID does intend to make more. But they need downtime. The issue is that there are a lot of individual parts needing to be made and if any one part is not complete then the rest can't be sold.
And the frames themselves take a lot of machine time.

I haven’t found one that I like more at this point. Hopefully I can get lucky and track one down. I’d really hate to build a fully custom gun without the trigger piece I want. Once I get everything together I’ll make a build thread.Comment

I see them come up on the AC groups on Fakebook fairly often, and they do sell quickly. I own one & love it, it's a great frame. Good luck with your search.Comment
