Stumbled upon Cdn_Cuda’s excellent sniper pump kit review from a few years back and it finally clicked for me why I don’t use this thing as much as I want to - I can’t stand the drift pump handle front groove. Anyone have any luck modifying a ccm ez handle to fit the ID pump plate? Open to any wacky ideas before I start hounding Laurie via email on when / if their pump kits get on the shop log. Thanks!

IMHO this is the CCM pump handle to use I am not a fan of the EZ pump handle theoriginal pump handle is their best.

I also hated the drift handle front groove, rest of the kit is excellent though, so I just removed it. If you have access to a bench grinder, you can grind down the end to remove the groove and shape the end to match the CCM style, it makes a huge difference and makes the kit really nice to play with.Comment

I didn't like everything about the Drift kit. Didn't feel good, not as smooth as CCM, and it's fugly.Comment

I was really worried about the Meteor pump handle when I picked it up as it has that little build out for tuning. Did not bother me at all as it turns out.
Can you use an ID Genesis handle? I have totally forget I ever got my hands on one but it’s in my review.Comment

Im a huge sucker for the wgp pump kit, the variety with the four finger radius not the ribbed variant but hey that ones for her pleasure anyway.Comment

I liked the feel of the Genesis kit over the Drift I think it’s a better lookin kit as well.
CCM is hands down my favorite pump kits. I don’t really care what profile. Only ones I wasn’t big on was the all aluminum handles I feel like they drag alot more and are not as smooth. My favorite being the EZ grip.
Slice kits are nice. But I think the CCM handles look nicer and are a bit smoother.

getting harder to find but if you do, usually can be had for less than $100
low profile, triple rod, smooth and imo, the best looking kit out there
