    Goblin XL?

Its somewhat an additive and subtractive question but do you think its a valid concept with 3d printer and the emergence of small scale cnc metal lathes that a larger goblin format shell may be possible? And im thinking more of the mini nerf football rounds as a shot cartridge. So precharged and loaded shells getting put into sonething like an m203, I saw the file drop over at maker world and it got me to thinking about the possibility (a new file would be needed or possibly remixed for the launcher) im getting ready to wrap on a different project and this sounds like a fun endeavor.

Sounds cool but how you plan to control velocity. Goblins didn’t have a velocity adjustment did they I thought they just shot really slow.

Correct. Even with the CAM80 airsoft shells and CO2 I'm lucky to get 225-230. Scares the hell out of people tho.

FYI, it is possible to charge the APS shells with HPA to 900 + psi. This will give a fps closer to 280. And yes, I saw this from a youtube video. The young man shows you the process and fires the heavy rubber rounds from the APS shells.

Have you seen "scenario slugs" from Big Bang Paintball? They're shaped foam projectiles with a 3d printed ring that puts spin when launched from the launcher attachment. They're fired by a paintball gun, but the same projectile would be pretty bad ass to fire from an m203 or m79 launcher. Similar bloop too.

Yeah, more like a grenade lob than a LAW rocket for sure. I've had some luck with bunker kills, but my home field doesn't have tanks, so it's mostly just for my 7 year old now.

I like the idea but you really need some way to control velocity. Multiple shells would require you to chronograph each shell I feel like.

I found the biggest issue with goblin velocity was in how fast, long, consistent you opened the valve.

i dont suggest that error of the goblin to be repeated. A spring powered hammer would give consistency.

the charge would need a way to be uniform as well and I dobt think its insurmountable.
