Nice! I've been wondering about the use of vinyl stencils during the anodising process for years. Well done.

Nice video David. Thanks for making and sharing your work, as i like learning new tricks. I personally used a tiger stripe vinyl kit i bought off amazon and it worked great. The vinyl was put through alot of chemicals and even the setting process and held up great. I wish i knew the vinyl type but isnt hard to find. Click image for larger version

Loving this ano job. That AEN Green is tied with Purple for my favorite colors. It never looks bad on anything!

Thanks guys, means alot coming from you guys. This was my first complete gun, done in January in my garage in New York. Two vats of anno as I couldn’t do them all at the same time, and first run was a disaster and had to begin over. This is why i dont do stuff ,lol.

Thanks man. It just dawned on me I have made a cent of my new ano hobby, and I totaled up my expenses so far, and it scared the crap out of me! I need to start selling some of the markers I ano'd, lol!

Shooter you can join that club. I was going to start annodizing but its such a labor intensive and expensive job i decided not to till i was really good at it. The money invested is significant but my builds are completely in house. Thats worth it to me.

Agreed, its awful, but I have a bunch of amazingly ano'd markers I built and I loved. Now that I have ano'd my own they aren't that thrilling to me. Now I need to build myself new markers to ano myself and I can say I 100% built these.

While I lack the skills of you gentleman, the thought of using a camel stencil and make a camel-fluaged theme marker is one step closer to reality! I have the marked, and found a camel stencil...

That came out awesome! Very similar design idea to the Quackmaster from years ago.
