So I ended up putting a regulator on and I trimmed the spring and it seems to fire much better now, plus I have a macroline now instead of the steel braided. My chrono broke but I hope to test this next Sunday to see where I'm at.

I tested it out I the above configuration, and it was struggling to do 100fps. So I got home, threw a Dye reg on and swapped some springs, and it seems to fire better, but I'm away from the chrono again, so I'll have to wait until my next outing to test it. Also I found this feedneck adapter on ebay so it has Ion/Mini threads.

I'm getting close to being satisfied with my cuts, but I ran out of consumables. Side note what's the best cutoff wheels and grinding bits for dremel tools? Do I bite the bullet and get the actual dremel brand wheels, or are there cheaper alternatives?

Metal cutoff wheels are what you need, and don't put any pressure on them. You are grinding, not cutting, so pressure eats the disks super quick.
You only need the Diamond wheels for cutting hardened steel, like the hammer. Aluminum is butter, so the basic metal wheel disks are fine.

The only thing you can do to improve the cut is use a vise to secure the marker and have very steady hands. Use the slowest speed you can control but still grind easily. Faster speeds can grind really well but are more prone to jumping. Use files and sandpaper to finish the cuts to make them look good.

            Nicely done!

Yes I have a vice. At this point alot was done with a round file and a bastard going super slow and making sure I am as consistent and even as possible.

Custom purple hart grip. This thing has really turned darker over the last few days, then I put oil on it. If I keep making these, I might actually get good enough to sell some.

Im done cutting this body. I think im happy where its at now that I cut it lower. I also got this Cran n Jam from Rainmaker, which is actually supposed to be on a Hammer 7, but it actually fits this body pretty good as well.

Well with fingers crossed, this thing might actually find its way on the field on Sunday. I really hope so after countless hours, and a number of dollars I'd rather not think about.

Oh I also got brass inserts for the bottom of the grip for my ASA screws. It's basically done.

Where can I find a guide rod for the pump where I can clamp it on the Trilogy guide. I have these 2 holes in the slice pump for it

So I patched this thing up enough to use it today, and it's a blast. It worked great the whole time I used it, it just need some small refinements. I'm chronoing at 275ish with the reg all the way up. I might try to tune that down with springs, but it seems pretty consistent. I just need a bucket changer and I can run this thing full stock class, or I can still throw on a hopper for open class.

                      Love this build.

That FS ION had me on my feet all day. Did you do a build thread? That thing is super cool.

So, after about 2 years of fiddling, Im almost done. I went back to the 32 Degrees body. It has a cocker detent, as well as detent fingers in the barrel since it's closed bolt now. I'm using a modified Trilogy valve now, which is a much better option than the JB weld trick. I also remade the bolt pin from brass just to be a little longer. It has a CCI feed bolted on, a new pump arm, and has my custom grip on it for now. Overall, I'm happy with how this turned out. I still want to half block it, but I have a million other projects to get back to. I'm going to buy a new Slice kit, as they come with an extra guide rod now, and mine's still broken. I'm also going to put a better grip frame on it as well. I have a Freak back coming also.

The dual rod will be awesome for this.

Shooting video up now! It works so good, and I dont even have a good barrel on it yet. I also threw on a Phantom 45 grip frame to match the feed tube.

So, the previous blue 32 Degrees body was trash. It had big gouges where the valve sits, and wouldn't stay sealed. So I bought another body. This one didn't have the window cut like the last one, so it got half blocked.

Here's what I currently have in this thing:
                        - 32 Degrees Icon Z body with cocker detent
                        - Spyder Imagine bolt and hammer, with my split pin
                        - Trilogy valve, modified to fit and soft valve spring
                        - Dye Hyper 2 reg (for now. Might get an AKA)
                        - ACP Trilogy Slice kit, modified to fit the VASA
                        - CCI Phantom feed
                        - Spyder single trigger frame with Battlegrip from Stockclass Heroes
                        - Freak barrel with Stiffi tip and modified cocker finger detent.

It's still not done. I want to clean up the body, and maybe send it to one of the fine MCB members that does anodizing.

Hit the Chrono today. Got soft hammer and valve springs, probably around 380psi, first shot was 285. This thing is running smooth. It still has a tiny bit of hammer bounce, but I can probably tune that out with the RVA and the reg. It's pretty consistent, averaging +/- 8fps with this crappy GI 3 star in an overbored .689 insert.
