Just wanted to see how many have started projects that slowly but steadily morphed into boundary and personal challenge projects. What did you want to create and what did you end up with?

Many. Iโm not sure about boundaries but many personal challenges. All successful except 2 failures. Im sure if I wanted to revisit those failures I could definitely figure it out but the interest isnโt there anymore.

I started with an old PPS Hurricane that was missing a detent, a stock, and most of the lower internals and slowly changed stuff over a couple of years until it looks like this now:
