It’s gonna sound crazy, but I really like this marker. I got it off a trade. I think it’s really unique. What can I do to really bring more out of it so far it shoots, but it’s only shooting at about 180 I still need to do my research on how to change all that, but I really would like to customize it not with colors, but with parts. I really wanna make this some type of carbine sniper would be cool for Woods ball

since your running HPA you can ditch the expansion chamber if you like or you can keep it, the chamber wont have any gains with HPA nor will it be a detractor. A5 barrels will fit minus the flatline as it uses a baynet style adaptor, You can run a force fed hopper if you like but its not going to yield much performance outside of virtually eliminating the risk of chops, There were a few people who did adaptations of RTs but I know next to zero about that and wouldnt reccomend with such a fine specimen. As for you velocity, look and see if you can score a new drive spring, perhaps a pro-lite / Pro-am / FA drive spring would work. also if your using a low pressure output tank then that is also a likely culprit of low FPS. See if you can borrow a high output tank before you jump through any extra hoops. in addition if your not familiar with the velocity adjuster do become familiar as that too could be the source of issues. but get a standard output tank and hit the chrono, if still low begin to back out the screw. if no positive result look into a spring.

Got it I have a tank so far it shoots it however I had no idea where the screw was. As for the force-feed, I was thinking of a 10 round spring feed tube.
I will start searching for the spring just in case and yeah, I don’t wanna get rid of the expansion chamber. I think it adds to the look. if worse comes to worse, I have a friend who does woodworking, and I would probably build something there to make it look like a carbine.

Before you replace the drive spring, replace the hammer and valve body orings. Assuming you have the cvx valve, They should both be a 017, 70 dura. Buna is fine. This should make a big difference in velocity. If it doesn’t get to 300 then get a new drive spring. You can get seals, drive springs and detents from captain oring for reasonable prices.
Regarding the exchamber, I had to get rid of mine in a procarb, sometimes it would sputter when shooting a lot, and taking it out fixed it.i replaced mine with a gas thru. It might not make a difference tho.
Amd just for your info, that vertical adapter is probably worth as much as the rest of the gun. They are getting hard to find these days.
Have fun with it, no one around here thinks you’re weird for loving it, you’ll fit right in. Check the tippmann section, Flightmedic and Calvin both just did some serious experimentation on procarbs and prolites that will be relevant to your interests.Last edited by Chappy; 08-17-2026, 09:21 AM.Comment

So far the gun has been rebuilt the Friend, who traded me for it he made sure he did all the O-rings again. As for the detent and springs, where do I go to buy those? And if you don’t mind me asking, what is the vertical adapter?
The goal is to get it running it’s peak performance before I start worrying about looks or should I do looks first then performance and I’m looking at this cool like fluted barrel it’s like 2 feet long lol

Based on your response and picture, I’m guessing you are missing the velocity choke screw. On the bottom in front of the air input into the body there should be a screw that screws into the power tube to block air going to the barrel. If not then you will see into the powertube through a threaded screw hole. If this is the case you will be losing air there causing your low velocity.
Vert adapter is the block that the exchamber is screwed into. It’s an aftermarket part.
If you need to remove the exchamber because it causes issues just replace it with a gas thru grip.
Essentially the same part with less volume.
I wouldn’t touch a 2ft barrel with a 10ft pole but whatever is fun and works is cool.
if you really are missing the velocity screw lemme know we’ll figure out how to sort you outComment
