    HPA Sourced Blow Gun/Duster

I was spelunking through Reddit and stumbled on a post asking if it’s possible to build a duster using an HPA tank as a source. Their reason was to cut costs from buying cans of dust off or similar. I figured it can be along with others, but rather post there I’d put it here since most folks here understand risks involved and what it would cost starting from scratch. Begin list!

    On/Off ASA
    Remote line
High pressure regulator (preferably externally adjustable with output gauge)
fittings, thread sealant of choice, blowgun and tank.

This setup isn’t being used, just proof of concept and a reference for those interested.

***Use lowest pressure as possible for your tank output if you use hardware store brass fittings between the on/off and hpr***

Simple and effective. Free if you have everything sitting in a pile collecting dust.

I use a bottom line HPR and some fittings. It's been used for a few years now to fill tires, feed a finish gun, blow gun/duster and anything else I need air for. You just have to be careful as I don't think the fittings used are rated for the maximum pressure the reg can output.

I didn't want to encourage anyone to blow off a hand lol. Side note the air coupling has a built in blow gun, the silver button activates a hole on the underside. It's called CoBLO and a google search should help you find a place to get it, mine cost me $10 at Adam's Tool and Nail in Leominster Ma.

I’ve just used a remote line with a slide check. No control on the output pressure, but cheap and easy!

I've done this too, it's a little rough on some things though......

I've got plenty of parts, and I'll just need some fittings including a blow gun. Anyone know where to find a tire chuck with a 1/8" NPT thread?

I used a reducer for those 1/8 fittings.
