Anyone down for a build-off?

Biggest issue with the JT’s is the need for 12g air. Some of us don’t have/want/need to buy a gun that takes a different air source

But ask yourself this: does it really *need* 12 gram co2 to operate. The point of this is to make it work however you want.

I have 2 examples of Polished Turds. Amazing what you can do with these basic markers. Also, I have several ER2s and Talons that I can unload at cost plus shipping. For most, that would be in the $35 to $45 range to your door.

I'd be down if it's any marker under $100, so long as I could spent a bit on parts. I think $150 total parts and gun I could make a really mean shooter.

I have access to a bunch of JT Raiders, BT Slices and 98 Custums.
Probably enough for 3 different build off contests.
I'll have to take stock of what is available for future build offs.

So, it seems we are going with "Any marker under $100 value." I'll be writing up all the details for the contest soon. I will still be implementing the additional $100 spending limit for parts and supplies that is seperate from the cost of the marker itself.

Your $100 value marker can be something you already own. As long as its worth $100 or less.

Consider this the start of the 2 week warning before the contest starts. Start gathering your marker, tools, and parts now.

Good. I initially voted STBB but "any marker" opens up the possibilities for people that dont have a hoard of STBBs lying around.

Sweet I picked up a Coach gun from COB hoping I could use that anyway. I been wanting to mod one ever since Santa pump night and seeing Capital Dave’s wild contraption. I been wanting to build one. I got to see if I got enough scrap brass around to make some freak barrels. Or are we just doing a Gentleman's build off style keep it simple and function, form ,budget, category we can vote for a winner. I’m assuming HPA or Co2 powered ids fair game.

As far as function, its all fair game, as long as it can break paint on a mask at 20ft. Hpa, CO2, rubber bands, whatever. As long as it could potentially shoot someone out in a game. I think just one category just to keep it simple. My goal is for people to have fun and be creative.
