    Pumpman10988 makes a pump!

Not sure if I'll use a mostly complete Trracer or an old Nelspot. I'll consider my options today and update this with a plan! I want something I can use for First Strikes...

    Sounds like fun.

After some speculative perusal of Bacci's available parts, and an inventory of my own bits, I'm leaning towards the Nelspot.

    Goals:
    • bolt action single shot (remove top tube)
    • constant air (need to acquire a BBA valve body - eyeing a Lapco one from Bacci for ~$40. Can anyone beat that lol?)
    • first strike ready (hack up the feedport, probably Dremel/files)
    • air through stock (I have an old adjustable one somewhere)
    • sights / optic (not sure what to do here)
    • longer barrel (extension?)
    • media blast the body/frame/etc (need to find someone local for this)
    • cold blue finish on all the steel parts
    • make it all black
    • trigger shoe (need to dig but I think I have a brass one)
    • search for 3d printed grips

There's my halfblock sniper, an F1 Illustrator, an LV 1.6, a TM-11A, and a Spyder Imagine. The Nelspot is covering 95% of my fancy mech cocker (you can only see the feedneck and a bit of barrel). Not counting the airsoft glock and .45.

Dose your nelspot have the removable collar on the barrel? There was an extender made for them. I got one on my 007 build. You can remove that ring and there is a piece that slip fits over it ( unported ) looks like this. I don’t know who made it or ware I got it but it works really nice. I used a copper T BBA on mine. I picked up a Doc valve to take one of my ICD lever changers but it needs to go to Ano first before I put it on.

You should look into the Phantom internal mods. We have a member making the Sears and really nice triggers to drop in the 007. They shoot really nice afterwards Doc did mine but the Sears can be purchased now so you can just drop in the mod.

    Sear
This sear allows the conversion of CCI Phantom internals for use in Nelspot 007 and similar markers. Laser-cut 304 Stainless Steel. I've had good success using this sear and a Phantom hammer to create an anti-kink Nelspot. Replacing the stock Phantom sear with this sear aligns the hammer and trigger for smooth, anti-kink operation in your classic Nelspot for a reasonable cost.A more typical 007 conversion would involve a Phantom Bolt-TPC assembly, Hammer assembly, Powertube assembly, and valve nut, to get the maximum benefit of the polished internals and TPC.

    Cool stainless trigger
Made from .120" brushed 304 stainless, this adds a classy racegun look to your classic Nelson 007. Goes great with a stainless CCI-007 sear and some Phantom internals.

    Small update!

I have two of these green spray painted Nelspots, and on closer inspection decided to sacrifice the brother of the one in the photo above. I hope to use the stock internals to save my $100 budget for other bits. I know I need a back bottle ASA and a sight of some sort. This body does have the removeable collar for an extension, and I may attempt to rig something up with another junk barrel versus buying an extension.

I also found my air through stock, the brass trigger shoe, and some things I forgot I had stashed away! A new Lapco #6 power tube, stainless VRS, new cup seal, and new CCI spring set.

I ordered the $40 Lapco back bottle valve from Bacci tonight. He also had a uni-body (no barrel collar?) Nelspot body, stripped, with the top tube removed, and the feed port widened... for $12! That will save me a ton of metal work that I would have surely done a poor job on anyway. I can settle with the pistol length barrel if it saves me all that hassle.

So $52 spent leaves $48 left for refinishing and my sights.

Another small update while we wait for the Bacci order to arrive!

The internals have been de-crusted. Lots of overspray and gunk, but the bolt and hammer/sear are in pretty good physical shape. I also got the frame, rail, and trigger apart. I quickly sanded the trigger with 220, followed by 320 to give it a nice smooth finish. Everything is now coated in some oil awaiting the next steps.

I am strongly considering adding the Phrameworks Empire Feedneck adapter to allow this to run with roundball too. I already have a spare plastic Empire feedneck.
