Lever, but not the way you think 😜

Hello Y'all,

guess this is my entry?

So to start, i will be using my Walmaz price, generously provided by NONOBLITUS :



The plan:
- metal slider
- RVA/adjustable spring tension
- make it lever, but not how you think 😜
- replace barrel (exposed and brass?)
- improve feed, maybe put some springs in there too?
- speed wheel
- cool sight/scope?
- TBD

I thought about trying to make a whole new shell, but i dont think that is reasonable within the timeframe ...
It is a long list with the limited time i have, but ill get it as far as I can 😁

Got the rail figured out and mounted as well as the speed whell:

Oh boy a tricked out Splatty. I can't wait to see this. There is nothing more satisfying than a Splatty elimination.

Ok, we are at a crossroad ...
I have the base design done for the lever i was envisioning, but i got an idea for a semi conversion ...

Should i stick with the lever or go semi-esque?

In the late 80's there was a bolt on splat master lever kit.....it worked backwards

I might have an advertisement for it in my analog data stash

pretty sure thats what i am making 😅
I made a very janky one about 20 years ago and sold it in a lot ... kinda miss it so i thought i would make a cleaner one.
Id love some scans if you have some, i looked but was unable to find any pictures of them.

I've got the design and dimensions down for the lever, next I need to decide if I want it 3D printed or out of metal ...

Ps: I'm leaning to send it over to get laser cut, I have a few other parts to be done anyway 😁

I've got vague plans to make a lever out of aluminum sheets with a drill press, files and a world of patience. I'll be following along for inspiration

I guess that's one way to do it. the way mine was, the geometry was a little different.😉

How was yours setup? Was it pulling the hammer when the lever pushed forward?

Move the fulcrum point lower to that bolt hole just before or after the trigger the main one at the forward position almost underneath the detent area that's where you need to have your pivot point to Pump it Forward cut a slot at the rear for that PIN to be able to slide forward and backwards put the commas wherever you need 'em... 😂

Also, make sure that, you return the pump back, to the start position before, pulling the trigger. Otherwise, you know the problem....🤦🏼♂️. Once you get that rhythm down.. I was able, to shoot it better than, any Splat Rapide... that's for sure!...😁

im leaving the lver connected on mine, so when ou pull the trigger, it will flick the lever forward.
I thought about having un-linked, but where is the fun in that? 😋
