Per the rules….the K-frame wasn’t pulled from a existing marker and has been in my parts bin for over a year…I’m treading a fine line, BUT I’ll let you make the final ruling since it is an extreme case. 😁

The contest is my motivation to complete a design project I’ve been putting off for far too long.

No need for that. Like I said, if it becomes an issue, which I doubt because I do actually know you bought that for something else, then squashed that project.

If this build were to turn out like you had originally planned, which I also know because we talked about it, then it might be an issue.

But we're currently all good, build on! I cant wait to see what happens.

This is MCB, correct? Who doesn't have a hoard of parts that have been waiting for assembly into something fun. Sure, some parts are more valuable than others, but they are all worth nothing sitting in a box. I say build on. Then, as a means of contrition, send it to me and all will be forgiven.

I narrowed down what I will be using for the main marker….PROGRESS!! If you squint your eyes and cock your head you can almost see…a plan! 🤣

Started cleaning, measuring, and cutting….realized I have a design flaw. 🤦🏻

I’m going to have to make a scale drawing to be sure I everything clears as it should without creating weak points in the marker.

I will have to get a couple custom bits made for me…@netsurferdude2 is up to the task for now….at least until I change my design for a 5th time. He should be inducted into sainthood 😂 (sorry, bud!)

Luckily I only cut my feed tube cleaned up all the other brass breach and bottom tube. Noticed my error when I did some “dry fitting”

Once I make some ACTUAL progress, I’ll toss up some photos.

I’d like to make it a 6 shooter with a LH spring feed, but we’ll see is I have time to get there with this contest

Got some more work done today. I still haven’t even begun to build the marker itself. Tossed the K-frame on a PGP2K I had just to see if the mechanism works…

COB Still has a long way to go, but it is starting to come together. I need to find a way to return the bolt forward, the hammer needs to be redesigned (it works though) and the linkage is sketchy at best (but again, it works!)

There is no way this will be completed in time, I won’t have any sort of spare time for the next few months. But I’m OK with it, this contest was a good sort of motivation for me to get this project under way….once work settles, I’ll dive back in and complete (and improve) it.
