Impact tries to build a lever action tigershark

My original plan for the build off was to use an er2, but after some research most of the modifications I could do require 3d printing. In the interest of doing something more hands on I'm going to be messing around with my bin of tigersharks.

My plan is to use as much scrap as I can. I have a collection of some pretty beat up tigershark parts, a pile of scrap aluminum for the lever action assembly and a pbdna feed I managed to snap the clamping section of. Odds are the only pieces I'll be spending any money on are the wood for the body, and maybe a CO2 changer if I can't drum one up.

I haven't done any real wood-working in years, so my plan is to use the block of wood pictured to determine the best way to fit the tigershark body into the wood and make a functional trigger assembly, then move forward with a larger piece I can make into a pirate/sawed off assembly. Worst case scenario I've got a trigger frame I can sacrifice, and I'll just use that as a 'tray' inside the wooden body.

Once I've got the body mounted I'll be approaching the lever and figuring out how to squeeze it into the assembly.

They're really fun. I've got one with a barrel that markdem bored out for freak inserts, I shimmed the trigger with some cut out sections of a gift card to make it shorter and just polished up the internals last weekend. They're super fun markers to mess around with or play with!

I may take you up on that if this project proves too big an undertaking, but my hope is to do most of the work on this project myself as I'm trying to expand my tinkering skills this winter. Thank you for your kind offer though!

Polish the internals, drill out and shim the pump arms, replace the pump arm screws and it'll be smooth as butter....I did this to the Tacticool Tigershark a number of years ago and it was unbelievably smooth....ask Jonnydread he saw it up close

I'm really curious about the pump arm screw replacement, what's the deal there?

Impactfour Replace the pump arm screws with ones like the Nelspot has, they are thinner diameter so creates less drag on the pump arm slots. Drill out the pump handle screw holes and put nylon spacers into the pump handle screw holes go to keep them centered and stable. Here's the Tacticool Tigershark I build several years ago. Jonnydread has seen this up close

Awesome, when I finish this project I'll have to look into doing all that for my other tigershark!

I had essentially done the same when I broke my arm. I used PVC though and even made a PVC stock tube. I threw a cheap ass red dot on it and a generic 12 gram changer with penny mod. I cant tell you how incredible that janky ass setup was.
