Well, mostly.
Got everything finished off - the valve work (ported main vent hole/plugged extra holes), polished the inside of the breech, barrel end, and lower tube, cleaned up the solder joints and beadblasted again - and did the final assembly after work.
I managed to wait a whole two hours before I couldn't take it anymore and decided to run a 12gram through it - and it works. π Except for the Instapierce setup I made - the infamous EV seal material issues struck again, and I couldn't get a 12gram to seal properly. The seal's too hard, I think, and I had a pretty decent leak from it.
I peeled it out (what an ordeal!) and swapped in a Sheridan face seal, but I'm out of 12ies so I'll have to grab another box soon so I can verify my repair. If I can't get it to seal I'll have to convert it back to shoot-to-pierce. OR, I need to resolder the valve core - hopefully not.
Otherwise, it's done... two brass projects down, two more to go. π
