    Bringing a Knife to a Gunfight…

More of a sword than a knife I guess.
I got on this a little late and knocked it out over last weekend and the last couple evenings.
It is a cheap parts box spyder, an IR3 frame and some scrap aluminum. Battery is in the pommel, board in the frame, and under the panels on the “blade” is some of an Eframe holding the solenoid.

The gun shoots but I need a couple fittings to run a braided line and I gotta dig out a soldering iron to finish the wiring.

I want to make a spring feed for it but probably won’t have time to do that on the next couple days so it will be entered as a “single shot, full auto capable sword” lol.

Hopefully I can find some time tomorrow night to get it finished up.

    More photos to follow.

Absolutely wild. Not what I was expecting at all. This is fantastic and the exact reason I can't leave this place 🤣

Okay, that rustles my jimmies in a way they haven't been rustled in a while.

Hardline that airline, and do some decorative Steampunk milling on the side plates.

Looks like the perfect application of an IR3 frame!

This is incredible! I just slapped some parts on a Nelspot 😅

That is truly amazing and beautiful. This is the true meaning of MCB. Incredibly creative and masterfully crafted. This also gives a new twist to Pirate games. No longer just flintlock inspired pistols.

This is absolutely wonderful. I blurted out W.T.F audibly in disbelief, and then I had a sheepish grin on my face while making sense of what I just saw.

The true spirit of MCB. What a time to be alive.

                Well that's crazy .....

Here's a thought to.... Make really long volumizer for the Spyder and tap a cp tank nipple into it and fill the volumizer from a bulk tank. Gets the tank off the gun

Or even a Spyder horizontal VA like Kit made years ago setup with a dropout changer. This would also be a neat application for a PT Xtreme with its lever changer.

This project could inspire so many crazy ideas.

                  Tell me about it!

I've been tooling with making a nelson based lightsaber single shot. Lol

So a weapon from a more civilized age meeting a clumsy blaster…. Do it!
