Mostly completed my POP build. Better late than never. I started with the idea that my 15 year old self would have loved to have a sten/bren. Enter first problem: if I made the mag vertical then it could potentially be very difficult to open the gun up. So sten it is. Got a M98 mag adapter kit for 25 trimmed it a bit and rotated it 180* around the gun to find out it could be made to fit. Drill a new hole for the balls to drop in and good to go. In keeping with the pile of poo theme I decided I needed an ugly stock and boy did eBay not disappoint. It’s got such a warp in it that it looks like a banana but for another 25 it was perfect. Didn’t want to try and figure out how to mount a tank so popped in a pipe nipple and QD and now we’re running remote. I had a M98 bolt kicking around in my parts bin to convert it back to .68 caliber. Also had a first strike hammerhead barrel with 3D printed muzzle in there so threw that on there and here we are, D&D. Oh yea that stands for drills and dremels not dungeons and dragons. Figured a 15 year old would mostly be limited to hand tools so I stuck with that.
