How do I register?
Post here, I'll add your name to the list, then hit up autococker04 on the distribution thread. Once everything is confirmed with autococker04, let me know and I'll officially confirm you. Then drop a post in the section titled "POP 2026 - [Name of Your Project]" so we can find it, follow along, and collectively judge your life choices.
How much does it cost?
There's no entry fee per se; just the box of parts from autococker04. The cost covers shipping and a few bucks toward the next field event fund.
Ok but how much is the box?
$25 (target - subject to change once shipping is confirmed)
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Payment MUST be sent as Goods & Services to make shipping and tracking possible. Please make it easy for autococker04 and follow ALL the directions on the distribution thread. Don't be that guy.
International shipping?
Unfortunately, US only; customs is a nightmare. That said, if someone wants to be a hero and smuggle some across the border for our maple-syrup-soaked friends 🍁, reach out and we'll see what we can figure out.

Ok I'm in. What are the rules of engagement?
- HAVE FUN. This is a game between consenting adults who know what they signed up for. No drama, no BS.
- Use the stuff from the box and have it shooting by the due date. That's the whole point.
- Parts budget: $100. This keeps the 💩 real and the playing field level. Here's how that breaks down:
- All costs are calculated at current market prices.
- Already own a gun? Great, it counts toward your budget — but only if it's available for under $75.
- Raiding your scrap bin? Love it. Those parts still count toward your budget at current market value.
- Consumables don't count — within reason. Don't try to expense a tank and a case of paint.
- Buying a second gun to Frankenstein something together? Awesome. That gun counts toward your budget.
- Raw material from the scrap bin (metal stock, etc.)? Free. Clean stock (finished parts)? That counts.
- When in doubt, ask the group.
- Anyone can call shenanigans. The group votes, and the mods/organizers hold veto power. Democracy with a safety net.
- Remember, this is supposed to be fun. Let's act like grown-ups — as much as we're capable of — and keep it reasonable. 😁
