    Briaschu1's Polished Turd Build

    Following Suit of the others.

The goodies have arrived. Luckily the box held together long enough to arrive with all it's contents.

I have a few ideas running through my mind of what I WANT to do. We'll see if any of it is possible or not.

I don't have access to any 3d printing or machine equipment so I will be limited on that aspect. If I can get both markers running, I would be interested in doing the second marker with a slim profile 3d printed body if anyone would be interested in selling a 3d print?

First I will focus on going through the internals and seeing what functions or leaks.

    Parts purchased:

    SSC Feedneck Thumbscrew - $7.50
GOG Seal Kit - $14.95 (Have not installed yet)
    Poo Barrel Cover - $11.95

The Freak barrel was borrowed from my existing SP1, but I have enough budget left to add if needed.

Here's what I ended up with in all it's glory.
I had some other things intended but time got away from me and now I'm getting into Pyro season so that has been getting more of my attention.

Ended up cutting some wood grips from some scrap wood laying around and made a chunky front grip as well. Gave them a weather gray stain finish and a couple clear coats.
Cut the body down and left the stock feed neck but added an SSC feed neck screw.
Stole the freak barrel from my SP1, but I do have the beat up stock barrel that came with the parts as well.

After cleanup of parts and going through and cleaning and re-greasing all the old grease\rust\gunk from internals I have 2 markers that hold air without leaking. One of the valves is a bit finicky when firing, but it's better than the constant leak it was giving me before. Now to figure out what I want to do next.

I did fully assemble one of them with the body and hideous remains of the grips that came on the marker and got some test shots off.
Chrono'd around 288 but there definitely seems to be some reg creep because the first shot would usually be 340+ after not firing for a short bit.

Well I was hoping to have access to a band saw when I started on this but that fell through. I finally got around to picking up a mini band saw at Harbor Freight today and made some forward progress. Not sure if ill pull off what I had visioned but so far Im liking it. She's a girthy turd right now but should be able to slim it down a bit. As I hold it now, it doesnt actually feel too bad. Still need to round down the edges, slim it up a bit and then planning on chopping down the body too.
