I am a proven assembler of pre-designed paintball guns and parts, but self admittedly not much of a tinkerer / mad scientist !

There is a different reseller asking like 20 bucks for them. I dont think the poo builds are high enough pressure to run the turbo loader. It was intended to run on blowback guns like tippmanns and spyders.

I guess it'll work on lower pressure, but how will you make the poo build work? Sp guns are biased spools. There is always pressure on the back half of the chamber. The front getting pressure drives the bolt back. Dropping the pressure from the front let's the bolt move forward and dumps the shot chamber.

Trying to use this hopper would do 2 things.

1 it would rob speed from he bolt return motion as the tubing can only flow so much at a time. This would in effect make it more prone to short stroking.

        2. It would operate backwards. The little I know about the turbo loader, it has a little finger that wiggles down by the feedneck hole.its out of the way at rest, and when pressure hits it it swipes towards/over the feedneck. You would have to have it always pressurized when the bolt is back, and drop pressure when you shot. So I think the finger would be semi blocking the feedneck always at rest. Then it would open, and re close on a shot rather than always open, and swiping over the feed hole on the shot.

I personally think it would preform poorly on this platform.

go the ebay ad, and they have a vid clip there showing it operating, more like an EMEK PAL loader

I understand it's like a pal. But on the premise of how a biased spool valve (aka enmys) it's pressure to the rear of the can always. Pressure to the front of the can pushes the bolt back and resets the cycle. Dropping pressure from the front half of the can allows the bolt to drop forward, and the chamber pressure dumps in the process.

The app loader has a little finger that moves up and down. It's designed to actuate when pressure is applied. They also. As shown in the video popcorn paint like mad.. When the blow back gas, or pneumatic gas is applied the finger slams up. Then pressure is released it shuttles back down pulling paint into the feedneck hole.

The only way to make it work with a poo build is T it off of the front can air as that's your only variable air source in these guns. So it would effectively be backwards logic. Being held up by pressure at "rest" , and slamming down on a shot. Then as soon as the trigger is released it would shuttle back up.

You are more than welcome to test my theory, but I think these would crush paint in the hopper when applied to a poo build.
    Working...
