Another trip down crazy lane in the Land of COB

So, yet again, I found myself bored without parental supervision. I have a Winchester model 86, the most basic of paintball markers ever made. I spent the time to fix it, but it was missing the CO2 knob. I have a Prop Flintlock inspiring me to make it a paintball musket. I have a long brass horn and a large piece of Oak. All of these things swirl around in a simple mind and poof the begining of another COB creation that no one wants or needs.
    More to come

      The saga continues...
First disassembly of the Winchester. Remove the feed neck, trigger guard and most of the pistol grip. Separate the brass horn in the middle by heating up the brass fitting holding the two halves together. Lay out the stock pattern on the block of Oak. Cut out stock blank. Use surplus wood to create a fore stock blank. Counter bore the plastic barrel to fit the brass horn portion of the barrel.

The next stage is to inlet the stock and foregrip to accept the barrel and basic modified marker. I will need to create a remote trigger system. Inlet the stock for the trigger system and air supply. I will need to create a 12-gram pierce system that is contained in the wood stock. I will need to create an under cocking mechanism to cock and load the marker. I have modified the feed port to accept both round ball and FSR paint. Additionally, I need to narrow the wood stock as well as shaping it. After I have a functioning marker, I will add the aesthetic bits like trigger guard, barrel bands, possible lock and butt plate. Stain and finish will be the last item.

At any time, anyone can call for an intervention. This thread is the equivalent of child running with scissors. Or in my case an old man driving a Hover Round blindfolded in a crystal shop.

By the way, you might be wondering why I didn't use the prop flintlock for the stock. The answer is it is too narrow and too shallow to fit the marker, air supply and remote trigger system.

The latest update. I began with some preliminary assembly and shaping of the stock. Also, I began the preliminary inlet of the barrel and gun body in the stock.

The next phase is to determine how to get CO2 into the valve. There are 2 options. First, is to replace the pierce system with 1/4" to 1/8" bushing and a 1/8" 90 degree fitting. Second is to replace the pierce system with a 1/4" plug and drill and tap the rear of the valve body for 1/8" fitting. You can see that space is an issue. The bottom air option will likely interfere with the secondary trigger system.
Comments and input would be helpful in deciding on a direction.

That is the intent. Let's see if I can pull it off.
