Ah. Well that indeed counts as going to an MCB:er.

I had my cursor on a bid of $750, and almost clicked. I'd have had to put it on the credit card, as my normal finances are way low at the moment, but I chickened out.

Got mildly bummed that when it appeared I'd have gotten it for about $100 less, but figured the other guy probably had a higher bid than $653, too. Looks like all I'd have done is run up Happy's bill a little more.

Yes, very much; teardown, photos, video. Don't make me come over there and do it myself.

MacDev's first production marker, built and sold in Australia.

They called it the E-Type as a reference to "Jag", which rhymes with Mag. They designed it to be an "improved Mag" but since I've never been able to analyze one in person, I can't speak to the details of that judgement.

Very cool piece of history and so old that the original drawings no longer exist, according to Bourke.

That is awesome on why they called it the E-Type. Thanks for the information!

Hopefully they are more reliable than a Jag

Its so rare that something surprises MCB, fitting that painthappy won it.

Wait a minute... I find out through Bacchi's site that there's breakdown pictures on friggin' Facebook, but not here, on Happy's own site? WTF?!?

            Stop putting everything on Facebook!

I hate that. It's impossible to keep an organized archive on FB.

Nice snag. I held off on bidding it up figuring it would go for more than my toy budget anyway.

I've been collecting indigenous built international guns lately...... Been fun granted I've had several very rare guns confiscated in Brazil..... And I might be on a watchlist lol
