We use to have a local guy that ran one of these in rec play. I use to love playing against him. My goal was to see how much paint I could get him to shoot by the end of the day. He was a lot of fun to play against.
2,000+ balls capacity
20+ BPS
100,000+ balls battery power
It holds a case and a pod or so with the feed line primed. Itβs a nice big hard surface target especially if your the type that stands sideways to shoot. Paintballs would break on the thing 100% of the time even at range.
I'd find it hard to justify spending $1400+ on this thing new let alone the $800 he wants for it now! The least amount of equipment I can bring on the field, the better!
What size tank is he running to fire a case? 113ci?!
Tote bin, rucksack, halo guts, tubing elbows and other misc hardware. Build this for under $200 probably. All the janky elements will be hid in the ruck too.
The firing chamber (body) dose build up heat with use. Not the barrel. Probably not hot enough to cook bacon but it will get warm. The C3 will shoot a case on one of those small portable propane tanks. Question is will work for that many shots it needs to shoot a full case not sure. They are not known for reliability. But Tippmann Sports did claim 50,000 shots out of a 16 oz. Donβt know how true that is but I bet it would do a case and more no problem. Will it Get hot enough to cook bacon well I feel like thatβs for MCB to figure out.
Now that I think about it, an OC Phantom wouldn't be that silly. Force feed with the auto trigger, you could probably rip off quite a bit of paint. Would need to worry about an air source though.
