Seller says the original finish was beat up so he stripped it, and spray painted it when he couldn't decide on a replacement finish

Actually, if you're gonna rattle-can an X-Mag, I at least give the seller credit for doing a proper job.

And if you want to have it custom annoed, this is better than having one with a second anno job.

$3500 seems totally off the wall to me but then X-mags are hard to find these days

For a rattle can job, it's definitely one of the better ones I've seen. Not sure why you'd strip separately from sending it in to get a full job done though, I can't fathom how this could look better than whatever was wrong with the previous anno since there is no physical damage visible to the body.

XMags are harder to find for sure, but one sold here for under $1200 last week in much better shape than this with a second X valve, new battery, and both a warp and vertical breach. The clean warpfeed does add to its pricepoint but probably not $2300 more...
