Thought this over and it would be a good way for someone to sell stolen gear. They can mask the ignorance of the gear they are selling by just saying it is their husband’s…. Less than scrupulously buyers would be disinclined to ask questions about stolen gear in the community because they would be afraid to piss off the husband.

bearded lady showing up to drop the gear off would throw off that charade though.

I have a bunch of gear I’m trying to sell for a lady . It was her husband’s gear and he left and the country and didn’t come back. Trying to recover some money to help her with her two kids. And of course it’s not selling at all…. But at least I got it working!
