They want you to make an offer not do the normal auction process.

on ebay it usually defaults as 50% or more of the posted price will have offers sent to the seller for review, so unless the seller made their minimum offer threads hold lower, the only offers the seller would see will be 5k or higher and no one in their right mind will be offering that.

I am not saying 1524 is a great price for just the shocker, but for a tank, hopper, hopper case and mech frame it is not out of this world and thus "reasonable"

Yeah I reached out to him to find out what is included and his reply was depends on the offer that the person sends. So while not a scam per say it feels shady including photos of stuff you are not including with the sale of the marker.
