Looking at their feedback I see one that sold for $50 which also seems ridiculous. Is this some sort of money laundering scheme?

Nah my guess is he is out of stock and hiked the price up to avoid re-listing fees. It's fairly common practice for people with online shops, especially if they just flip or drop ship . Check his feedback and you'll see that they've sold for max $50 or way lower.
