Now that I've won the auction, I had to share.
So on shopgoodwill there was a lot that just sold with a minty sl68ii. It had a lot of interest with 7 bids and a current price of $60 dollars.
The very next auction was a pile of old junk with this brass beauty in it. The barrel shown is a j&J sl68 brass barrel,. I have a few friends whom have these, and they won't sell them for love or money.
Imo the barrel carries more value than a sl68 itself. So I tossed a bid at it. And no one else bid on the lot!
I'm excited to put this bad boy on my Spitfire. After I give it a good polish that is.
