Anyone know WTH this thing is? I may bid on it if it stays low- lmk if anyone here is bidding on it and I’ll stay away.
if anyone here is selling it, your welcome for the free publicity
I purchased this as part of a package deal, so I'm selling it. It is untested, and there are no returns.

Patriot II. Not a good gun. Cast metal parts that fall apart and internals are soft.

      Ah, thank you!
I do like that brass barrel- they didn’t happen to be AC threaded?

I'm so confused by this thing. What's under the massive forearm/shroud? What's the pull pin for on the top of the receiver? What's with the vertical asa and that spacer cylinder? It gets worse the more I look at it.

Nothing under the shroud. It’s brittle plastic and hollow.
The pull pin holds the back cap, it goes vertically.
The vert air is not an Asa, normally the bottom line screws right in. The spacer is aftermarket to make a vert air.

-Nothing, it's just a plastic foregrip. The gun's basically just an STBB, the only thing in that shroud of the front valve plug.

What's the pull pin for on the top of the receiver?
-Typical quick-pull pin that retains the one-piece back plug, Pull that, and the hammer/bolt can come out. Same idea several Spyders and other STBBs had.

What's with the vertical asa and that spacer cylinder?
-The factory air setup is just the bottomline hose screwed into that welded bung, much like the original Spyders. In this case, somebody used a female remote-hose end to make an ad-hoc vertical ASA.

The original bottomline hose is screwed into an elbow that was screwed into the burst-disc hole of the tank. That makes the little 3-1/2 ounce tank into an expansion chamber- an old CO2 trick.

The gun's not AC threaded, the Patriots had their own proprietary threading.

They're not bad guns, though as noted, not long-term durable.
